Internet Society (ISOC)

 

 

Internet Society (ISOC) is an international, non-profit organization founded in 1992 to provide leadership in internet-related standards, education, access and policy. It states that its mission is to “promote the open development, evolution and use of the internet for the benefit of all people throughout the world. Internet Society (ISOC) has initiated Amakomaya (Mother’s love) project by its small community grant project back in 2012.

 

The Information Society Innovation Fund (ISIF) Asia

 

 

The Information Society Innovation Fund (ISIF Asia) is a grants and awards program empowering communities in the Asia pacific- region to research, design and implement Internet-based solutions for their own need, placing particular emphasis on the positive role the Internet has in social and economic development in the region. ISIF Asia offers support through competitive grants and awards processes as well as offering support for a range of capacity building opportunities for selected recipients. ISIF Asia has financially supported Amakomaya project since 2013.

 

FONDATION PIERRE FABRE

 

 

The aim of the Foundation Pierre Fabre is to give the populations of underdeveloped and emerging countries around the world, as well as people who become vulnerable due to serious political, economic or natural crises, sufficient access to good quality healthcare and more specifically to common medication, defined by WHO in particular as essential to human health.

In Foundation has provided financial support to deploy Amakomaya and Vial-to-Child project in Virkot Municipality of Syanga and Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan of Dang district. 

 

Patan Academy of Health Science

 

 

The Patan Academy of Health Science (PAHS) is a public not-for-profit tertiary academic institution dedicated to improve Nepal’s rural health by training health workers for rural Nepal. PAHS has been developing and providing pregnancy contents for amakomaya since it was started to increase the demand of health service and information to rural populace.

 

WHO

 

 

WHO is directing and coordinating authority for health within the United Nation system. It is responsible for providing leadership on global health, shaping the health research agenda, setting norms and standards, articulating evidence-based policy options, providing technical support to countries and monitoring and assessing health trends. Amakomaya has been working closely with WHO to implement VaxTrac as a pilot project in Nawalparasi district of Nepal.

 

UNICEF

 

 

UNICEF has been active and integral partner with Vial to Child Program. UNICEF specially works in the field of children. Amakomaya has been working with UNICEF to implement VaxTrac project in Dadeldhrua.

 

Child Health Division (CHD) Nepal government Ministry of Health.

 

 

Child Health Division (CHD) under the Ministry of Health (Government of Nepal) plays a leading role in improving the health of child including mental, physical and social well-being, for overall national development with the increased involvement of private sector and non-governmental institutions for the implementation of program. CHD is also responsible to make necessary arrangements and formulate policies for effective delivery of curative service, disease prevention, health promotion activities and establishment of primary health care system. Amakomaya has been working with CHD to implement VaxTrac project in two district Dadeldhura and Nawalparasi.
