Postpartum care
Postpartum care is a provision of care to women following the child birth to observe and monitor the health of mother and new born baby as well as provide support and guidance in breastfeeding and parentally skill .
A women center approach to care in postpartum period to should assess physical and psychological recovery by focusing the need of women.

- To help the women adopt and successfully fulfill the role and responsibilities of women .
- To promote and monitor the women and infant physical well being.
- To promote and monitor the women and infant psychological well being.
- To assist women in successful infant feeding.
- To enhance confidence of women in her ability to fulfill role of mother
- To foster good family relationship.
- To educated the women and her family needs and development.
