Why Aamako Maya
We are not a general software development company that occasionally works in healthcare. Our experience comes from building and working with real digital health systems in Nepal — maternal and reproductive health technology, health information systems, HL7 FHIR and DHIS2-based interoperability, and collaboration with government health systems and the health workers who use these systems every day.
That work, including Amakomaya itself, happened in a resource-constrained environment where systems have to work on unreliable connectivity, with offline-first design, and with people who are not technologists by training. That is a different discipline from writing software to a specification — it is the discipline this service area is built on.
